Wedding Open Day at the National Centre for Early Music - 24th March 2019

Whether you have already booked your wedding with us and want inspiration, or you’re looking for a venue and want to discuss your ideas in further detail – this is the perfect time for you to visit.

This beautiful Grade I listed venue is nestled within the York City Walls on Walmgate, just a few minutes walking distance from Clifford's Tower. Our main hall is within a former church characterised by high ceilings, stone pillars, and lovely medieval windows that pour in natural lighting. The crown jewel of our site is the porch door leading out to the garden, with a sculpted Romanesque archway dating back to the Norman Era. And the surrounding garden is perfect for outdoor games and couples’ photos.

Not only will our venue be dressed for a wedding, but our events team will be available on the afternoon to greet you as well as answer any questions you have. And a handful of Yorkshire’s finest wedding suppliers will be exhibiting on the day as well:
