About Bannockburn House
‘Weddings at Bannockburn House’ is new to the Scottish wedding industry, but we have ambitious plans, with our very first Wedding Fayre taking place in April 2022. We offer our venue with couples able to build on and customise their wedding to suit themselves, making it truly bespoke. With its blend of history and romance, Bannockburn House itself is, we believe, is a very special venue which will appeal to couples looking for something that little bit different with the chance to create a wedding experience unique to themselves.
The historic Laigh Hall with its beautiful, ornate ceiling and minstrels’ gallery is the perfect ceremony room. Ancient stone stairs lead to the first floor allowing couples to literally walk in the footsteps of Bonnie Prince Charlie and his sweetheart Clementina Walkinshaw as they make their way to the romantic Charlie room for that perfect photo. After the ceremony the Victorian extension provides spacious reception rooms that can be customised to suit any taste, leading out into the extensive gardens surrounded by ancient woodland.
Bannockburn House is a hire only venue and costs £1,000 for exclusive use of the house and grounds for a wedding. This also includes the day prior to the wedding and the day after. We can hold intimate ceremonies in the house for up to 60 guests and externally there is an option to erect a marquee/tipi on our south lawn with recommended numbers of up to 250 people. Our staff team will provide a list of recommended suppliers to our couples to help them with the planning as well as the support of our staff team to make sure the day runs seamlessly.
