Burgh House is a beautiful Grade-I listed Queen Anne mansion house, nestled in the picturesque, cobbled streets of Hampstead Village, only moments away from the expansive tranquillity of Hampstead Heath. The House was built in 1704 and retains many of its original features, including fireplaces, wood panelling and a beautiful barley-twist staircase. With 300 years of history, Burgh House's beautiful, panelled rooms provide a unique and elegant backdrop for weddings and receptions. You have a choice of two characterful rooms for your ceremony: our traditional Music Room with baby grand piano for up to 70 guests, or our Library which is perfect for intimate ceremonies of up to 15 guests.

As you approach the wedding venue down a quiet country lane, you are greeted by a collection of Sussex flint and brick buildings as well as the main farmhouse. Entering through an iron gate beside the gatehouse, the driveway takes you past the Farmhouse and across the grounds to the front entrance of the reception barn. As soon as you enter the barn, you are hit by the “Wow Factor”. The whole room is swathed in beautiful ivory pleated marquee drapes with swags and tails. The east wall has windows overlooking the rolling fields and woodland where horses and deer roam freely, while the integrated raised dance floor and tall central pillars exude atmosphere, creating a sense of grandeur and space.
