Our wedding venue, GG’s Yard, located near Dumfries is in a beautiful corner of bonnie Galloway. We can host up to 200 day guests with the addition of 100 evening guests. Our dreamy destination is nestled into the rugged rolling hills and is home to spectacular coastal views that are certain to get your guests talking.

The Perfect Venue

Where to even start, from the views, to the inside of the venue, the food and the staff this venue is perfect! We knew the moment we drove up to GGs that this was our Wedding venue and it did not disappoint. The service we received was so personalised and really showed the care and attention the team put in. We also used many of the recommended suppliers from GGs who also were amazing, Hemera Visuals, Connies Cakes and Gregor the Piper. The most stunning venue and we had the best day at without a doubt the best Wedding Venue!

Wedding Day Of Dreams

Every good thing you hear about this place is true. The venue speaks for itself in terms of splendour and class but it’s the staff and family that truly makes this place special.

Every single person was a delight to liaise with for our wedding, each an expert in their respective fields. And whilst the prospect of wedding planning seemed so daunting in the beginning and I longed for the option of ticking yes to a “gold package” I am so so glad we listened and learned and together created the wedding day of dreams.

Stunning Space

I attended GG's Yard yesterday to play the piano there for a wedding. What an absolutely incredible day,! The venue is such a stunning place to be in, an incredible layout with a beautiful view over the sea, and (Proprietors please take note) the staff were an absolute credit to you and the venue, they were so very friendly and welcoming and ensured such a smooth running of the day. a refreshing change from venues i have been to in the past. I really do hope I get to come visit again to play your piano there. It was certainly a day I will never forget!
