We started off as a neglected farm and like Cinderella, we transformed into something magical. We've been on such a journey and then we found weddings.... We’ve even won ‘Lancashire Wedding Venue of the Year’! We call our weddings ‘Weddings with the WoW Factor’ as when you open our Barn doors, ‘WoW’ will be the first word to come out of your mouth. You have exclusive hire of the farm for your wedding and you potentially have the use of four areas of the farm all to yourselves: 1. Our gorgeous Wedding Barn which is fully licensed for ceremonies and which can hold up to 250 guests standing or 170 guests seated; 2. Our Wheatsheaf Barn which is great for welcome drinks and informal receptions and a great weatherproof solution; 3. We have a licensed Gazebo for that perfect outside wedding which can also double up as a chill out zone with amazing views; 4. Finally we have an original Indian tipi with a fire bowl for your guests to catch up in and get cosy around the fire. You can decorate the Barn and choose the food you love to eat. We also offer a ‘Cake Cart’ as a wedding cake alternative and Cheese Wedding Cakes. Our unique offer is our Brew Station - throughout the day, your guests can help themselves to a mug of tea or coffee at no extra charge. We have our own award-winning family butchers and Cookery School. We also grow our own edible flowers (which we use to decorate the wedding food) and rear our own sheep. We cook all the food and source all the drink. How many venues do you know that offer locally sourced beers, animal themed wine, a Gin Bar, Pimp Your Prosecco and even a Rum House! All in one venue. Our venue is very eco-friendly – we have the Gold Award for green business and the venue is powered by a wind turbine. Our Wedding Barn is open until 1am for music and dancing and our wedding style is ‘fun, quirky and magical’. We offer accessories such as vintage chairs, beautiful rustic trestle tables, fairy lights, cake cart, fire pit for toasting marshmallows, sweet cart, PA system, music system, rickshaw, handmade bunting, floral archway etc… We give you access to our ‘Prop Store’ (which is a bit of an Aladdin’s Cave) to personalise your wedding. All of this saves you time and hassle. We don’t charge you for ‘extras’. Our Llamas and Alpacas wear bowties and mingle with your wedding guests and our donkeys will pose while you sit on a vintage blue tractor. We provide a variety of complimentary outdoor games and we have go-carts and ride-on’s for the kids (or even adults)! When you book you will have three planning meetings and access to a secret website for your wedding planning. A Wedding Coordinator will be there on your wedding day providing coordination and support which means you don’t have to worry and your role is to just focus on having the best day of your life. We hold Wedding Open Days every month and are we are open EVERY Wednesday 5.30 – 7.30pm for couples to just pop up (no appointment necessary) if you would like to view the Barn. We GUARANTEE that our venue is unlike any other venue which you will come across and we do hope you come and visit, as we believe that our photos and videos just don’t do the farm justice.
