Accommodation With over 140 bedrooms and luxury lodges on site, there will be a bedroom to suit everyone in your party. Our bedrooms have recently been refurbished and are all located in close proximity to the main wedding rooms, so your guests will not have far to go. All of our bedrooms include Wi-Fi, a hospitality tray and a full English breakfast in our Brasserie. Should guests wish to use the leisure and spa areas, this is complimentary for them too. For the wedding couple we also have two luxurious Bridal Suites available. Championship Golf We have 2 championship 18 hole golf courses, voted No1 Golf resort in the North of England that have hosted 13 PGA’s. As an in house guest here, you and your guests can benefit from 50% off tee times, pre booked in advance. If you haven’t played for a while, not to worry! We have a 9 bay driving range and a PGA professional on site to give state of the art tuition. Golf clubs can also be hired. Spa and leisure Our leisure area hosts a large swimming pool with Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room for you and your wedding guests to enjoy if staying at the resort. We have 9 Spa treatment rooms too with ESPA products and a range of treatments from a full body massage to a manicure in our own nail bar area. If you feel like you may want to be more active, we have a state of the art equipped gym too. Whisky Snug Our Whisky Snug is a perfect area for you and your guests to relax in, at any time. If you wanted a private meal prior to your wedding day with close friends and family, we can arrange this too. The room has a working fireplace and a Whisky wall filled with over 100 rare brands. We can arrange Whisky tastings for your group too if booked in advance. Ornamental Gardens Our 2 acre ornamental gardens are situated just by our front lawn. It is the perfect place for you wedding photography or we can even host an intimate ceremony there for you and your guests, for up to 30 people. Tranquil, serene and calm where you can hear the streams run by, you’ll be fully relaxed here whether a guest or the bride and groom. Walking We have 5 designated walking paths around the 1000 acre estate with a large map that can be seen on the first tee, by the Hunting course. We have much wildlife around Slaley Hall including 12 pairs of deer, red squirrels and many rare birds. Additional to this to the left of the front lawn we have the ornamental gardens that covers 2 acres. Here you can see rare Japanese trees, a small pond and relaxing area for you to enjoy. Activities In partnership with All Out Adventures we have a range of activities onsite. We have our own dedicated 4x4 off road driving track, segway path and Quad biking trail alongside activities for the less adventurous too; clay pigeon shooting, archery, orienteering to name but a few. About The Venue We are a unique 17th century 15 bedroomed hotel situated directly opposite Warkworth Castle, and overlooking The River Coquet. We are licensed in our Castle Restaurant and Sun Lounge for ceremonies, so your whole day can be held under one roof. We offer exclusive use and have on site parking. Our Wedding Coordinator Zoe is on hand to guide you through your planning and will look after you on your Big Day to make sure it is truly magical.

The largest treehouse in the world, The Treehouse at The Alnwick Garden is beautifully crafted, built from sustainably sourced Canadian Cedar, Scandinavian Redwood and English & Scots Pine, it sits high in the treetops in a copse of mature lime trees and looks as if it has been there forever. Lit almost entirely by fairy lights, the Treehouse Restaurant can be found at the heart of the structure, beautiful and unique, with a log fire in the centre, trees growing from the floor, handcrafted wooden tables and chairs and screens created from fallen branches. Ellingham hall is a privately owned venue set in eight stunning acres of Northumbrian countryside. The Estate includes the elegant country house, seven luxury cottages and extensive gardens for a unique and entirely exclusive two-night wedding experience to remember.
