About The Hare & Hounds Hotel
You’ll find the magnificent Hare and Hounds Hotel set within acres of beautiful gardens and woodland in the heart of Westonbirt, near Tetbury. With a mellow Cotswold stone facade and neighbours including the National Arboretum and Royal Highgrove Estate; The Hare and Hounds Hotel boasts a setting to remember for your big day.
Dating back to 1854, the Hare and Hounds has plenty of character – think original log fireplaces, big bay windows and a whole host of cosy snugs and lounges. For your wedding day, you’ll have sole use of one wing of the hotel to celebrate your special day, not to mention a dedicated entrance for your guests to arrive in style, a private bar and direct access to the perfectly manicured gardens.
What’s more, with 42 country-style bedrooms, we’ve got plenty of space for your guests to stay the night and enjoy breakfast with you the following morning. For the Bride and Groom we have something extra special up our sleeve… Game Keeper’s Cottage; a romantic retreat for two, with super king size bed and private hot tub! Combine all of this with carefully tailored menus, plenty of fizz and an enthusiastic, experienced team, and you’re sure to create the big day of your dreams.
