Set in the heart of the quaint Somerset town of Axbridge, welcome to The Oakhouse Hotel.
Nestled next to the Cheddar Reservoir and on the doorstep of the Mendip Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it would make for a wonderful venue for you to celebrate your wedding day.
A delightfully charming, classic English inn, The Oakhouse bursts with a rustic elegance that would be ideal for any style of celebration!
We can cater for small intimate celebrations or larger groups up to 120, the wedding reception is exclusive and private, with the hotel being exclusive for that day.
There is a choice of two ceremony rooms and indoor or outdoor reception spaces.
- The impressive Oak Suite with its rustic features & historical well is just perfect for exchanging vows in front of a maximum of 90 wedding guests.
- For a more intimate ceremony of a maximum of 30 guests we have the Acorn Lounge with its views of the historic market square.
- Marquee weddings are available in the garden of the adjacent Manor House, which accommodate up to 200 people.
