Set amongst 14 acres of verdurous parklands in Kendal, Cumbria, The Villa Levens is a historic wedding venue and a four-star hotel ideally situated in the South Lakes. Once a convent, this luxurious estate exudes decades of history throughout. This idyllic setting will provide a breathtaking backdrop as you leap into your marital adventure. Upon approaching the heart-shaped lawn along a beautiful, 300-metre tree-lined avenue, the Victorian house and landscaped grounds reveal themselves with a remarkable first impression. The Villa Levens would love to welcome you for an utterly romantic and fairytale-like celebration.

Couples and guests can immerse themselves in the beauty and charm this extraordinary venue has to offer. With a fantastic selection of gorgeous spaces to host your magical day, you will be sure to find plenty of photo opportunities to memorialize your event. The venue offers its 19th-century converted chapel, The Brettargh Suite, for your ceremony. Up to 120 loved ones can witness you say 'I do' surrounded by vivid stained-glass windows as the original bell chimes above. Following your ceremony, you and your guests can enjoy delicious drinks and canapes in the main house, terrace, and lawn whilst your photographer captures your candid moments. An opulent cantilever staircase and brilliant chandelier will provide a lavish setting for more wedding photographs inside the main house. You can then head to The Pavilion for your evening reception. This large, marquee-style suite can host up to 250 people for a grand gala and offers a private space for you to celebrate in comfort. A large glass wall with doors opens to a wooden decking area offering stunning views of the surrounding woodlands and fields. With ample space for a dance floor and seated meal, you and your loved ones can dine and dance into the night. The Pavilion also features a sound ceiling to ensure a smooth music flow without drowning out the conversation amongst guests.
