Aston Wood offers a unique and picturesque setting for your wedding. The Fotherley Suite, while attached to the main clubhouse, can be accessed and operated separately. With its own entrance, bar and restroom facilities, your complete privacy is ensured. The Fotherley Suite can host up to 180 guests for a sit down Wedding Breakfast and 170 for a finger buffet with room for dancing. We offer a fine selection of wedding menus to suit all palates and budgets, all of which are prepared to the highest standard. Attention to detail is a very important key to a successful function. We will provide you with all the assistance you need to ensure that your Special Day is an occasion to remember. We can also organise other services such as toastmasters, a band and a DJ.

The event will feature exhibits from wedding specialists including; jewellery, millinery, stationery, decorations as well as related services such as photography, florist, car services and cake design. You can see the glorious Bantock set up and have the chance to speak to our registrars team and enjoy a cheeky drink or slice of cake from the bar and café. We will also be showcasing our other venues Wolverhampton Art Gallery and City Archives. 11am – 5pm, Free admission
Lightwoods House is an elegant country house located in an oasis of greenery amoung the bustle of south-west Sandwell. You can marry on the Edwardian Bandstand, in the leafy surrounds of Lightwoods Park, or you can hold your ceremony in the Long Room inside the house ( both max 80 guests). Whichever you choose, you can enjoy exclusive use of the Shakespeare Garden for drinks and photos. We also have a marquee within the garden. You can choose to have your "wedding breakfast" as a sit down meal, buffet or street food, in the Long Room before partying the night away. We open additional room to accommodate evening guests (max 120). Guests can enjoy the gardens until 9.30pm while the bar will serve until 11.30pm and music until 11.45pm.
