The Secret Garden Now available for civil ceremonies, the ‘Secret Garden’ provides a spectacular backdrop for your special day. Imagine hosting your guests with champagne and canapés in fabulous surroundings set with bright flowerbeds, stone gazebo and walkways. The design was inspired by the gardens of Italy and aims to stimulate the senses offering an area of peaceful tranquillity and well-being. The self-contained garden now adds even more versatility to the venue, offering luxurious grandeur as well as intimacy, something many hotels can’t claim. Welcome to The Drewton Estate’s unique and exclusive countryside wedding and events venue, The Manor Rooms, where we endeavour to make your dreams come true and promise to make your special day a magical and memorable occasion. From your initial enquiry through to the ‘big day’, you can rest assured that we will deliver a personal service, with creative expertise. The Manor Rooms is a brand new venue which has been sympathetically built with a rustic yet luxurious feel, with features including beautiful bespoke upholstered chairs, fabulous chandeliers with the wow-factor, exposed stone walls, wooden floor with underfloor heating, a fully-stocked feature bar and, of course, bi-fold windows with stunning and picturesque views across the fields on The Drewton Estate, which is located on the edge of the famous Yorkshire Wolds. The Manor Rooms comfortably accommodates up to 150 seated guests, for a wedding breakfast, and up to 225 guests in total for the evening reception, depending on your choice of room layout and furniture. The Library is located on a mezzanine, overlooking the main function room, and will provide the privacy required for an intimate Civil Ceremony. Complete with oak staircase, glass balustrade and chandeliers, it is also a great space for a reception area. We will be fully licensed for both weddings and civil partnerships, both inside and outside the venue. The Library can accommodate a ceremony for up to 60 guests; The Garden Room is a smaller room and can seat up to 24 guests; or The Manor Rooms will accommodate up to 225 guests with the option for a ‘sapphire wedding’ where guests are seated on The Terrace. We have a full music licence for your chosen entertainment, a superb sound system, a hearing loop, free wi-fi and amazing lighting with chandeliers and personalised LED highlights to boot! Even our ladies’ powder rooms and the ‘little boys room’ have special features with an element of fun in the décor and your choice of essential oils for the diffusers. With spectacular views across the rolling hills of the East Yorkshire Wolds, The Terrace really is the perfect backdrop for beautiful photographs or for reception drinks and canapés. It can also be used for outdoor ceremonies when the weather permits. A few steps down, and you will come across our garden Boma with outdoor seating and fire pit. A nod to the Taylor family’s love of Africa, it is the perfect place to sit under the stars on balmy summer evenings. We pride ourselves on our exceptional food and service, with creative, seasonal and delicious menus. We are therefore delighted to offer fabulous wedding menus, based around the seasons and using the very best local produce. The Drewton Estate’s multi award-winning Farm Shop, Drewton’s, is proud to work with over 250 Yorkshire producers, farmers, growers and suppliers and our chefs’ wish is to indulge you and your guests with quality tasty dishes, all the while supporting these artisan businesses. The Sheffield Town Hall is an impressive Grade 1 listed Victorian building built in 1897 and is located right in the heart of the city. The most important day of your life deserves a special setting, and our elegant Mirror Room and grand Mandela Room both create the perfect setting for larger wedding ceremonies. Each of the rooms can accommodate up to 120 guests or the full Reception Suite can welcome a huge 220 to celebrate your special day. We can accommodate ceremony, wedding breakfasts and evening functions.

An inclusive town-centre church, offering religious weddings. These are available to couples of all faiths, mixed faiths, or no faith. LGBT+ couples are warmly welcomed. The main hall is large and quite traditional, with a high arched ceiling and a balcony level. The seating is non-fixed, and a red carpet is laid down along the aisle. The main hall is wheelchair-friendly and disabled toilets are available on the ground floor. Other rooms are also available: a kitchen, a coffee lounge seating up to 24, and an Upper Hall with kitchenette and stage, seating up to 100. Please note that the Upper Hall is not wheelchair-accessible. Receptions can be held in the building if it is self-catered or if a third-party caterer is used.
