We have level access to the venue through the Conservatory side entrance and our accessible toilet is located in The Main Room. About our chosen Charity - Amy & Friends Amy and Friends was formed to support children/young adults and their families suffering from Cockayne Syndrome and linked DNA repair disorders that lead to a shortened life expectancy (average age 12.4). They meet with families and specialists to share experiences, knowledge and to gain support from each other. They organise and accompany families when attending Rare Disease Clinic at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, which they helped open in 2018 and they actively take part in research programmes, working closely with a team of worldwide medical specialists. They organise for families to meet others in similar situations to themselves, often for the first/last time. This helps lessen isolation, builds confidence, aids wellbeing and improves knowledge. They are the only Charity in the UK that supports children/young people and their families with DNA Repair disorders, even providing help to undiagnosed children/young people when they have no other support network. Their families receive no other advocates from charities for their conditions – other than hospice for end-of-life care. 50% of all ticket sales will go straight to Amy & Friends.

Held at The Old Barn wedding venue near Clovelly, entry is free, and you don’t need to book. You’ll be able to get a feel for this DIY wedding venue: based around a gorgeous 17th century barn, it has a vintage, rustic feel – and the indoor dodgems add a fabulous festival wedding vibe too! Following the successful Wedding Fayres we have held here over the last four years, we are so excited to be back at this beautiful Grade II Listed building was originally called “Warren House”, a name derived from the wooded valley on the west side of the house, know locally as the Warren because it was overrun with rabbits. Built by Walter Maximilian de Zoete, the son of a stockbroker who was noted for his conservatism and a man who also disliked any changes, designed in a Flemish style which is noticeable in the stepped gables, a style not common in this country.
