You can taste the cake, try out the photobooth, listen to live musicians in the rustic black barn, have conversations with photographers, try on dresses, discuss your decor challenges, and find inspiration, all in one convenient location and on one day. Plus, by visiting one of our local wedding fairs, you will have the opportunity to see exceptional venues that are set up for both ceremonies and wedding breakfasts. Knowledgeable wedding planners will be present to provide tours and offer guidance. All enabling you to find the perfect venue for your wedding. Our local wedding fairs are open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and admission is free. Additionally, there are often fashion shows featuring the latest bridal gowns, as well as menswear and mother of the bride attire. Gloucester Robinswood Hotel is all about contemporary style and sophistication. The annual Something Old, Something New Wedding Fayre is a great place to find inspiration and wedding experts you can trust. Held at The Old Barn wedding venue near Clovelly, entry is free, and you don’t need to book. You’ll be able to get a feel for our DIY wedding venue: based around a gorgeous 17th century barn, it has a vintage, rustic feel – and our indoor dodgems add a fabulous festival wedding vibe too! We are the UK's favourite inclusive alternative wedding fayre! Nestled in the stunning Mid Devon hills, close to the pretty hamlet of Stoodleigh, Hawke Barn is a former threshing barn that has been transformed into an animal and nature lover’s paradise! Experience the peace and tranquility of the stunning surrounding countryside, whilst discovering the venue's blend of unique indoor and outdoor spaces. We're not kidding when we say it's perfect for animal lovers either - it is on the site of a farm specialising in horse-racing, with opportunities to meet some of the venue's cuddlier residents, including Teddy and Gerald, two live-in teddy bear sheep who love a celebration! We've handpicked a talented bunch of wedding professionals who all offer something different from the standard wedding packages and adhere to our zero-judgement ethos, and they're all ready and waiting to show you what they've got up their sleeves. Quiet Hour - 2pm to 3pm We understand that wedding fairs can be a really overwhelming place full of lots of people and lots of noise! To assist those who may be anxious, overwhelmed or neurodivergent, the hour between 2pm and 3pm at our fayres will be Quirky Quiet Hour. Quiet Hour is an individually ticketed timeslot where those who feel they need a quieter browsing experience can attend. This venue is fully accessible. Please note though that it is an farm venue and ground will be uneven.
